Multi-Level Protection Scheme 2.0 (MLPS)
The Chinese regulatory system for data and cyber security requires all companies operating in China to comply with a national regulation to ensure the following: no data can be leaked, stolen, or falsified. Furthermore, IT systems must be free from interference, damage, or unauthorized access through a multi-level protection system. Companies must conduct extensive risk assessments and treatments to identify and mitigate potential data and IT systems risks when entering the protection system.
Local authorities have thoroughly audited the Eplan Cloud Platform in China to ensure it meets the Multi-Level Protection Scheme (MLPS) security requirements. Since January 2024, it has been certified to MLPS 2.0 Level 3. This is the highest possible security level a cloud application can achieve under the MLPS certification. This MLPS-certification further reinforces customer confidence in China’s Eplan Cloud system.
