What is open-source software?
The term open-source refers to software whose source code is freely accessible to the public, and where modification and use are generally permitted and desired. In most cases, open source software can be used free of charge if the license conditions are complied with.
How Eplan uses open-source software components
Eplan uses various open-source software components for locally installed solutions and for cloud solutions. Regular checks of the applied components ensure the highest possible level of safety and availability of our solutions. The selection, use and security of open source software components is regulated and verified by our software development process.
